Annual Concert 2026
The TCS Turkish Choir Ensemble Vancouver proudly presents its Annual Concert on April 11, 2026 at SFU-Goldcorp Centre for the Arts – Fei and Milton Wong Experimental Theatre in downtown Vancouver.
Founded in 2003, the Choir has been dedicated to celebrating and sharing the richness of Turkish music and culture throughout British Columbia. As part of the Turkish-Canadian Society (TCS)—a nonprofit charitable organization serving the community for over 60 years—the Ensemble continues to build meaningful cultural bridges through music.
Following its 2025 performance at the prestigious Vancouver Playhouse, the Choir now takes the stage at SFU Goldcorp Centre, continuing its artistic journey across some of Vancouver’s most respected performance venues.
The TCS Turkish Choir Ensemble Vancouver is a volunteer-driven initiative featuring 36 choristers and 8 musicians under the conductorship of Sevgi Doğan. Bringing together performers from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds, the Ensemble reflects the inclusive and multicultural spirit of Canada.
The 2026 repertoire will guide audiences through a vibrant musical journey including Turkish folk music, Turkish classical (sanat) music, and
contemporary and popular selections. Inspired by the sounds of Anatolia and shaped by modern interpretations, the evening’s program blends tradition, emotion, and artistic excellence.
The concert will be presented in two parts, with a 30-minute intermission.
Whether you are discovering Turkish music for the first time or returning as a longtime supporter, this performance promises an evening of cultural richness, powerful harmonies, and heartfelt artistry. Join us for an unforgettable evening of harmony, heritage, and community!
