Annual General Meeting 2025

*Dear Members of the Turkish-Canadian Society,*

We are pleased to announce the date of our Annual General Meeting, which must be held within the 2025 calendar year in accordance with the BC Societies Act. We have scheduled the meeting for *Sunday, February 2, 2025*.

The details are as follows:

*Time:* 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM

*Location:* Creekside Community Centre, Multipurpose Room 4

(1 Athletes Way, Vancouver, BC V5Y 0B1 – Olympic Village)

Your participation is highly important as we review the past year and shape our plans for 2025.

As noted in our previous message, in order to be eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting, you must have been a member prior to December 4, 2024, as required by our bylaws.

PROXY VOTING GUIDE

Members of the Turkish-Canadian Society may vote by proxy under the following conditions:

Who can be a proxy: A proxy must be held by an Ordinary Member or an Honorary Member.

Maximum proxies held: An Ordinary or Honorary Member can hold no more than three (3) proxies.

Validity period: A proxy is valid only for the specified general meeting.

Proxy Form Format

The proxy form must follow this format or any other approved by the Board:

hereby appoint ____ (name of proxy)

as my proxy to vote for me and on my behalf at the general meeting of the Turkish-Canadian Society on ____ (meeting date)

and at any adjournment thereof.
